Seeing as how brown lipsticks are trending right now, I thought I would introduce one of my new favorite lip colors – and compare it to it’s NYX dupe. Most MAC lipliners seem to have a similar color in the NYX line of lipliners, and after doing some research, word on the street is that the NYX liner in ‘Natural’ is a dupe for MAC’s ‘Stripdown’.
I'm searching for a dupe for Stripdown by Mac. Specifically, looking for which Nudestix lip pencil you might recommend. Ulta is having a sale on Nudestix and I haven't tried anything by them but hear nothing but good reviews. Personally, I don’t think these two liners are that close in color. ‘Natural’ is described as a deep-toned beige, while MAC describes ‘Stripdown’ as a creamy brown-beige.
As you’ll see from the above swatch, “Natural” definitely has more warm pink undertones, while ‘Stripdown’ is much more of a browny-beige. Metro 2033 steam. Both liners have great pigmentation and a similar creamy texture, making them both easy to apply.
As I’ve said in prior MAC/NYX dupe posts, the biggest difference between them is the price point. Microsoft office excel. MAC lipliners run for $16, while NYX lipliners are only $3.50.
